Wet weather till Nov. end

Rainy afternoons and evenings would continue in several places in the island with strong winds and thundershowers till the last week of November, a senior Met Department official said.

Meteorology Department Deputy Director S.R. Jayasekera said the prevailing inter-monsoon period was highly unpredictable and there would be disturbances in the atmosphere bringing rain to almost all parts in the country.
