Voice-based phone directory from Suntel

From restaurants to spas to automobile service centres to medical facilities, the Suntel Tele Guide is a voice-based phone directory that helps to find any number by simply dialing “1433”, the telecom firm said this week in introducing its latest product. This latest feature is also the first of its kind to offer a range of numbers per inquiry.

For example, if looking for a convenient and authentic Chinese restaurant, the Suntel Tele Guide won’t just give the phone number of one restaurant but will provide all contact details of a range of highly recommended Chinese dining choices in Colombo, the statement said. Jeremy Huxtable – Managing Director Suntel Pvt. Ltd. said, ‘The Suntel Tele Guide is like having your own personal assistant just a call away. No longer do our customers have to waste time rummaging through bulky phone directories nor make several calls to find out details in a hurry.’
