And since July 1, this year, with a change in management having taken place, the restaurant was given a new look and name too and thus The Bavarian German Restaurant & Pub came in to being. "We always wanted to own a bar and pub and we are new to this trade," said Niluka Mendis, Director, The Bavarian, while her brother Chavan Mendis handles the operation side of things. "It's just an interest and it's going pretty good," Niluka quipped.
