Kingfisher Airlines, a private, international airline owned by Indian baron Vijay Mallya, is to launch flights to Colombo and back from January 19, company officials said.
They said a group of senior Kingfisher officials was due to arrive on an inaugural flight on Monday to Colombo. The airline's local agent is Royal Spence Aviation Pvt Ltd, a Aitken Spence Group subsidiary. Other airlines already flying to Colombo are Jet Airways and Air Sahara in addition to the state-owned Indian Airlines.
The airline on Monday will be flying in from Chennai at 0815 and from Bangalore at 1620.. |
