The scarecrow is a funny man,
Made of straw and hay,
The only thing he does,
Is scare the birds away.

He just will stand forever,
Among the growing fields,
And looks out for the cheeky birds,
Who always steal our meals.

But he never gets tired,
Of what he has to do,
And he has a smiling face,
All the year through.
