Station masters to go on 48-hour strike

The Sri Lanka Station Masters’ Union of the Railway Department will go on a 48-hour strike, starting at midnight tomorrow, union president K. V. Jayasena said.

Chief among the union’s demands is the implementation of the 06/2006 circular relating to station masters’ salaries, Mr. Jayasena said.
