In addition to specializing in the designing and construction of swimming pools we also specialize in saunas, steam cabins, spas and water and waste water treatment plants, thereby providing total water solutions for all your water needs", says Mr. Manamperi.
 All the required raw materials and equipment are imported from the USA and Australia, after which the assembly process is carried out in Sri Lanka through one of the company's subsidiaries under the name 'Foster and Reed Spas'. Ample stocks of spare parts and local expertise provide the peace of mind to the prestigious clientele, when it comes to after-sale service.
"Presently we are involved in handling 30 on going projects, both in Sri Lanka and Maldives. Each month we complete an average of 15 pools. We have a staff strength of over 200, which includes 70 permanent staff members and the balance work with us on contract basis. We have an experienced team of structural and electrical engineers who provide their services. We have successfully penetrated the Maldives market, where in which we develop 10 to 15 resorts a year", further stated Mr. Manamperi.
Foster and Reed also provide spas and bathtubs for a majority of the leading apartment complexes in the country. The company is also the number one spa contractor in Sri Lanka, which deals in almost 90% of the spa contracts in the country. The company also deals in a few property development projects for the upper class segment, which include a bungalow, located in Moratuwa, Bolgoda and five exclusive villas in Bentota. The Bolgoda bungalow is rented out on a monthly basis and includes a 25 meter pool and an eye catching riverfront", concluded Mr. Manamperi.
