Vladimir Putin has promised to clean up his country.
But a free car wash from female students in skimpy tops and bikinis probably wasn't what Russians were expecting.

Cleaning up: Members of the group wash cars in the latest stunt by supporters of Vladimir Putin |
The stunt from nubile Moscow University undergraduates is the latest by the strongman's supporters ahead of an expected announcement that he will seek a return to the Kremlin presidency next year.
A dozen young women set up the 'aVVtomoika' -- meaning car wash -- but with a double V in Cyrillic to match Putin's first two names Vladimir Vladimirovich.
Patriotically, they only offered their services to drivers of Ladas, Volgas and other Russian cars.
'We are doing the car wash because we just love Putin," said one of the students.
'We were sure that few drivers would be able to resist,' said a man called Maxim, one of the organisers of the stunt.
One surprised man said: 'I'm not sure they cleaned the car very well, but I enjoyed watching all the same.'
A blog called 'We Really Like Putin' has attracted more than 110,000 members, but the prime minister insists he has no knowledge who is behind it.
In another stunt, women were due to do a mass striptease for Putin in Moscow on Friday.
At the weekend a trio of beauties also showed their support for Putin by releasing a video of themselves strutting around the streets of Moscow.
The group, who called themselves Putin's Army, have now challenged fellow young women to record their own videos -- in a competition titled: 'I'll tear (my clothes off) for Putin'.
They say the best video sent to them will win an iPad2.
A former KGB spy, Putin was also portrayed as James Bond in posters around central Moscow recently.
Putin and current president Dmitry Medvedev are due to announce which of them will represent the Russian elite in the election -- but it seems Putin has already cleaned up in the race to get back to the Kremlin.
