‘X - treme’ is a popular four member wedding band in the Sri Lankan music scene. ‘Our clientele is varied from silver screen stars to popular personalities to simple brides and common people’ said Kosala.
Being a popular wedding band, X-treme, has been performing at various functions since 1996 and have played more than 2000 shows in various areas of the country. ‘We have provided entertaining music for over 2000 wedding ceremonies and other similar events around the country and that includes many star studded weddings. ‘X-treme’ comprises Kosala Kalubovila (keyboard and vocal and band’s leader), Nilanga Perera (guitar), Nishantha Wijesingha (lead vocalists) and Thuishari Gunaratne on vocals. ‘Thushari Gunaratna is our latest female vocalist and is a talented singer. She had been a singer with a couple of Sri Lankan bands performing in foreign countries’ Kosala said. ‘If you plan to get married in the near future, you may be busy in organizing various details of your wedding like, your attire, decorations, photographers etc. Likewise there is a very important part of the wedding that should not be overlooked.
