Commercial Bank opens in Batticaloa

The 109th branch of Commercial Bank of Ceylon Limited was opened late last month at Batticaloa by bank chairman Mahendra Amarasuriya. Among the distinguished guests present were, Rt. Rev. Dr. Kingsley Swamipillai, Bishop of Batticaloa - Trincomalee, Mr. R Monagurusamy Government Agent, Batticaloa, N. Navaneethan Municipal Commissioner of Batticaloa, Rajan Sathyamoorthy, President of the Batticaloa Traders' Association and many other distinguished guests and invitees.
Residents of Batticaloa, Kaththankudi and other surrounding towns would be able to access their accounts from any part of the world because of the bank's link with the Cirrus and Master Card networks.
