Providing a mix of entertainment and fashion, the ARENA 2003/2004 fashion show was held at the Grand Ballroom of Hilton Colombo on November 25.

The evening began with cocktails, followed by the fashion show and dinner. DJ. David Ruberto and the musical twins Preach and Danger entertained the crowd in between. The first segment of the show saw models presenting a touch of Burberry trimmings in all ensembles that were predominantly in earthy/autumn colours. Denim mixed with suede and tuxedo waist jackets added plenty of youthful vigour.

The second segment was all white and dreamy. Belly-baring tops worn with hip-hugging jeans sported sashes and thick buckle belts as the prominent accessories. Ra Ra skirts with slinky tops and bikinis and beachwear had their own style.
Indian designer Namrata G’s creations from Bangalore consisted mainly of flared/flowing pants with prominent borders fixed at the point of flare and hemline - worn mainly with pastel tops and dupathas.

The final segment was the unveiling of the Arena Design Collection - flown in from some of the famous fashion houses of Europe. This range showcased mainly cocktail dresses in black .
