Sachithra excel for Marist CC
Sachithra Jayathilaka, the 21 year old boy of Mahanama College who is now attached to Auckland University in New Zealand for higher studies is playing club cricket for Marist CC. Sachitra who is reading for a Degree in Information Technology has been representing the Marist Team in New Zealand as an opener for the last 18 months and has made some useful knocks in the club cricket scene.

Sachithra a talented opening bat who was coached in Sri Lanka by S. R. Ketipearachchi is in the country on a brief vacation. He said he was training hard for the upcoming tournaments in New Zealand.The Marist team is the defending one day champs in Zealand.
