Dharshana’s Christmas songs
Dharshana Mawalage, a versatile and talented young man with a dexterity and capability of playing several instruments has, edited and done the multi-track recording for his four Christmas songs.

Dharshana has composed the music too for ‘Sudasuna’ Christmas special of the monthly Christian programme to be telecast on December 28 at 6pm on Rupavahini channel.

Sudasuna will be conducted by the National Christian Council and this month programme will be directed by Dharsana himself. The message will be delivered by Rev. Devapriya De Silva of Galle Face Christ Church.

The programme will be coloured with a dance performance mainly by the members of Hendala Baptist Church. There will be a difference in presentation, as some songs which were made as lullabies will be enacted giving a powerful message on Christmas.

The way it would be presented is novel as the four songs are scheduled according to the original events that took place in the Bible. The four songs are sung by Shanika De Silva, Suranji De Silva and one by Dharshana himself in addition to the group song sung by Thushani Liyanage, Lakshani Liyanage, Upeka Wijesinghe, Chathuranga Senaratne and Dasun Premawardena.
