‘The Mixtressess’ in town for New Year

UK’s hottest female DJ duo, ‘The Mixtressess’ will be in town for the hottest New Year celebration. ‘The Mixtressess’ will be in action at the Taj’s Airport Garden Hotel on New Year’s Eve Dinner Dance at the Harbour Bar.

These young ladies have taken the London Club Music by storm, mainly because of their talent, energy, beauty and professionalism. They have featured at some of the top venues in London including ‘The 10 Rooms’, ‘Q Bar London’ and ‘Bar Med’.

‘Mixtresses’ formed less than a year ago came together to fill a void within the club scene in London that several established promoters/friends had identified. This ‘void’ has been identified as an absence of pure unadulterated energy followed by a selfless goal of entertaining the crowd and not themselves.

‘The Mixtresses’ are from a rich and diverse cultural background in India which has allowed them to mix their Indian heritage with the western cultures that have influenced/shaped their modern outlooks.

The Mixtresses ethos is to create a feeling of ‘pure musical pleasure’, they always set themselves the selfless task of sending the crowd into a musical ecstasy. The Mixtresses add a twist of eastern spice to an otherwise flat urban scene.

“The Mixtresses’ will be in Sri Lanka only for AGH New Year celebrations’, said Asok Fernando, the manager sales/marketing at the hotel and who is the main promoter of the duo in Sri Lanka.
