Budding cricketers from sixteen countries including the ten Test
playing nations will be on show - this time by it's would be future
heroes testing their skills at the Fifth Under 19 World Cup tournament
in Bangladesh.
The
matches will be played in four different venues in a spectacle that
will last for 21 days. The matches scheduled to be played today
-- the opening day of the tournament are: Hosts Bangladesh taking
on New Zealand at the Banghabandu National Stadium, Sri Lanka taking
on Zimbabwe at the Bogra District Stadium, England playing Nepal
at the M.A. Aziz Stadium, Pakistan testing their skills against
Papua New Guinea at the Khulna Divisional Stadium.
Defending
champions Australia will be on show tomorrow (Monday) when they
take on Canada at the Rajashahi Divisional Stadium. The other games
scheduled are: South Africa vs Uganda at the Chittagong Divisional
Stadium, India vs Scotland at the Banghabandu National Stadium and
West Indies vs Ireland at the Khulna Stadium. |
