Gypsies
on world tour

The
popular band Gypsies will be on tour in UAE, England, Norway, Sweden,
France, Canada , Australia and New Zealand from April 6 till mid
June. Popular singer Ronnie Leitch and Ginger will also team up
with the band on tour.
The
band will be in the Middle East on April 8 and 9 as the first leg
of their world tour. Crown Plaza in Abu Dhabi will be the venue
for their dinner dance and the grand musical concert on April 8
and 9 respectively, organized by Lalith Kulatunge of the Sri Lanka
Society.
Toronto
in Canada will be their next stop. The band will be in action at
the ACC Grand Ballroom in Willow dale on April 17. The boys will
perform at the Gala Dinner Dance by the Sri Lanka Society in Toronto.
Ryerson University Theatre at Gerrard Street will be the next venue
in Toronto for their Musical Concert on April 18.
The
Gypsies will move to Vancouver for their next Concert at Bell Performing
Art Centre at Surrey on Saturday, April 24. A gala Dinner Dance
at Hotel Ibis at Earls Court in London on May 1 will be their next
musical stop.
On
May 2, 7, 8, the band will be in action in Paris in France, Norway
and Stockholm in Sweden respectively.‘We will be performing
in Paris and Stockholm for dinner dance organized by the Sri Lankan
Societies. Two more concerts in Italy and Switzerland will also
be on cards but not yet finalized . Anyway , we will be back in
Colombo before we leave for our Down Under tour’ leader Sunil
explained.
The
Gypsies will be in action at a couple shows and dances in Colombo
during mid May. The band will leave for Australia and New Zealand
on May 20 for a series of mega concerts organized by Sri Lankan
communities in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland
The
fabulous Gypsies will be in action at Murabin Town hall on May 22
and they will perform in Sydney on Saturday, the May 29. The Gypsy
caravan will hit on Brisbane on June 5.
Popular
concert place ‘Dorothy Winston Centre’ in Auckland will
be the next venue for the Gypsies to explode in their world tour
2004. The band will perform in Auckland, New Zealand on June 7.
