SLMC to field moulavis at PC elections

Taking a leaf from the JHU book, Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) has decided to field a group of moulavis as candidates for the upcoming Southern Provincial Council Election.

SLMC Galle District Chief Organiser Hazan Sharif said the decision to field moulavis was taken following a request from party activists and the business community in the area. He said already two moulavis had come forward as candidates.
