Mahinda
meets Norwegian PM in Athens
Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse held discussions with his Norwegian
counterpart Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik in Athens yesterday.
The discussion covered the political and economic situation in Sri
Lanka, the long-standing development co-operation between the two
countries and the present status of the peace process.
"Our
Government and the President are totally committed to seek a negotiated
settlement to the ethnic crisis and are fully appreciative of Norway's
efforts", Premier Rajapakse said. The Norwegian PM said he
believed the Government and the LTTE were committed to the peace
