Chandrasekeran
plans JVP-LTTE meeting
Former Minister and UPF leader P. Chandrasekeran in a letter to
the JVP has said that he could try to arrange a meeting with the
LTTE and the JVP. Mr. Chandrasekeran in a letter to JVP Propaganda
Secretary Wimal Weerawansa, has asked for an appointment with the
JVP to discuss the matter further.
The
JVP, which is the major constituent party of the government, has
a vital and historical role play in resolving the ethnic conflict,
the former minister has said adding that it is necessary for all
political parties to have a distinctively transparent dialogue.
The letter came in the wake of LTTE Political Wing Leader S. P.
