Sampanthan's son attacked
TNA Parliamentary Group Leader R. Sampanthan's son was injured in a mob attack last night in Trincomalee while he was returning in a trishaw with another person after inspecting a land owned by them.

The attack by an unidentified group of about twelve people took place around 7,30 p.m., police said. He was admitted to Trincomalee Hospital but was later discharged due to security reasons.
