‘Feedback’ in Dubai
The band ‘Feedback’ is the latest addition to the Dubai list of performers from Lanka. The band took wings last Thursday for Dubai for three months contract.

The band comprises Shane Karunaratne, Chathuranga Peiris, Ravi Jayawickrema, Asela Fernando, Sharmalee De Silva popularly known as Mary and Ashen Fernando.

Prior to their trip they were in action at the ‘Hut’ at Mount Lavinia Hotel, Blue Leopard’ at GOH and at ‘Lords’ in Negombo. Sharmalee joined the line-up recently and she used to perform with her brother in Germany and Switzerland.

She performed in Oman for four months since last July and soon after her return she joined Feedback. “I’m happy with Feedback” because the outfit really suits me, and will be away for three months and I am trying to take our band across to Europe during the Summer next year,” she said.

‘Feed Back’ have a mixed repertoire and it caters to all young and old. ‘Evergreens, 60’s 70’s 80’s and 90’s with current hits and baila for Sri Lankans are our specialty’, she said.
