Cricket superstar Murali to address National Sales Congress
Sellers from across the country will convene at the upcoming Sixth Annual National Sales Congress to promote professional standards and solidarity amongst Sri Lanka's sales community, event organisers said.

Cricket legend Muttiah Muralitharan has tentatively agreed to deliver the keynote address at the February 12 session. Other speakers include Roshan S. Egodage, Senior General Manager at Ceylinco Group, Nandana Wickramage, Director Marketing and Sales at Ceylon Biscuits Ltd and Dr. S. K. Gunawardena, Management Consultant and Corporate Trainer.

"This year's Congress will focus on the importance of setting and meeting sales targets, improving and refining presentation, and sellers working together as part of effective, cohesive sales teams," event chairman Kelum Hewawasam said.

"The Congress is the centrepiece of our professional development program, through which we work toward enhancing the standing of sales as a profession in business, industry, and the public sector."
