Burnett Asia Pacific President re-energises its Lankan business
Michelle Kristula Green, President of Leo Burnett Asia Pacific was
in Colombo recently to lend her support to the Sri Lankan office
- Leo Burnett Solutions Inc. (LBSI) - of the Leo Burnett Worldwide
network.
She
was here to give strength to the local agency team and to also review,
revise and revitalise the agency's plans for 2005 hampered in the
wake of the tsunami, the Colombo agency said in a statement. Her
one-day visit also coincided with the company's Board meeting, meetings
with the agency's management teams, a meeting with several clients
over lunch, an internal motivation programme and the ceremonial
launching of Leo Hope for the Kosgoda relief endeavours.
Ms.
Green attended the meeting of the Board of Directors of LBSI. The
highlight of this meeting was the board's endorsement of the efforts
of the company and its noteworthy performance year after year both
in creative and financial terms.
The
Board also voted a sum of Rs. 1 million from its profits to the
Leo Hope fund and a further sum of Rs.500,000 to meet all the administrative
and related expenses pertaining to the relief work that the agency
is executing in the hamlet of Hiddoruwa in Kosgoda. A further sum
of Rs. 3 million from the profits of 2004 were allocated to a special
training fund, which would be deployed to provide international
and regional exposure to the agency's team members from all levels.
Ms

work. Ideas were getting stronger while their presentation was getting
simpler, smarter and cleaner - an unbeatable combination. |
