MJF
Group opens Aryana Spa at Water's Edge
MJF Group, owner of the Dilmah Ceylon tea brand, and Elan Hospitality,
a Bali-based spa specialist, recently opened their first Aryana
Spa at Water's Edge Golf and County Club in Battaramulla.
Designed
as a day spa for both members of Waters Edge and the public, Aryana
Spa features seven suites - five single therapy suites, a Thai suite
and one deluxe double suit, a company statement said. Each of the
spa suites has personal changing space and rain showers, allowing
guests total privacy and seclusion.
Many
of the spa packages are designed around the Hydro Therapy area featuring
warm and cold plunge pools, the steam room and a Tropical Rain Shower.
A
dedicated Reflexology room will help relieve guests of tension and
alleviate fatigue. The Aryana menu also offers a Deep Tissue massage
for men or a "Men Only" facial.
Aryana's
staff have been associated with some of the world's finest spas
including Chiva Som in Thailand, the Four Seasons and Ritz-Carlton
spas in Bali, and the Banyan Tree and Six Senses spas in the Maldives.
Each therapist receives training at the Aryana Spa Academy from
Richard Rosen and Karen Biancardi, two Californian trainers.
Aryana
stems from the Sanskrit "Aryan" meaning noble and "Yana"
meaning journey. |
