Bomb hoax outside CJ’s residence
The bomb disposal squad was summoned yesterday following a bomb hoax opposite the residence of the Chief Justice at Wijerama Mawatha Colombo 7.

The bomb disposal squad checked a suspicious looking parcel and found that part of a banana tree had been neatly wrapped in paper and placed there.
The parcel had been placed despite high security in the area where top politicians and diplomats reside.
