Hunt for talent
The semi finals have come to an end, and the contestants have been narrowed down. Few have made it to the finals and the rest had to be disappointed. As the finals of Talent Search looms closer, we find out who have made it to the finals of this much looked forward to event.

Dance (Eastern) – St. Bridget’s Convent, Girls’ High School – Kandy and Naththranjala Dancing School

Dance (Western) – Bishop’s College, Visakha Vidyalaya and “Lady Marmalade” done by a group of past pupils from different schools

Instrumental – Trinity College – Kandy, Mahanama College and Isipathana College

Rap – Nalanda College, Triple 081 and Optimum Institute of Knowledge
Group singing – St. Joseph’s College, Trinity College – Kandy and Bishop’s College

Solo – Holy Family Convent – Bambalapitiya, Bishop’s College and Asian International School

Band – British School in Colombo, St. Joseph’s College and St. Peter’s College
The finals will be held on November 8, at the BMICH, at 6.30 p.m. Tickets for the event will be available at the Royal College Union from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

The main sponsor for the event is Pepsi, the media sponsors are The Sunday Times and MTV Channel (Pvt) Ltd, the communication sponsor is Prudential Assurance Limited, while the official printer for the event is Softwave Printing and Packaging (Pvt) Ltd.
