Dhammika buys 10 pct of Sampath Bank
Dhammika Perera has acquired control of a 10 percent stake in Sampath Bank as of November 17, SC Securities (Pvt) Ltd has informed the CSE.

The young business tycoon who is making waves in the business community also has a 25 percent stake in Pan Asia Bank, obtaining Central Bank permission to own shares in excess of the 10 percent ceiling.

He has major stakes in companies involved in ceramics, leisure, power and finance among others.
