PM launches software system from Informatics Sri Lanka
Informatics International Ltd, a leading software solutions company,
has implemented an insurance software system at Sun Insurance Company
Ltd of Fiji, one of Fiji’s leading motor vehicle, property
and casualty insurers, and the largest locally owned general insurance
company.
Fijian
Premier Laisenia Qarase, launched the new software system last week,
saying at the ceremony that,” there are number of reasons
why Sun Insurance is successful, and high among these is professionalism.
This
is also a company that keeps abreast of developments, and will take
on board new ways of doing things, where there are good reasons
for doing so. We see an example of this in today’s commissioning
of state-of-the-art computer software, representing a further investment
of about $ 1 – million.”

will provide Sun Insurance with the powerful tools necessary to
sustain its leadership position and service its customers efficiently
with an unmatchable range of products. The solution from Informatics
named Info-Ins is a tested and proven system, which provides an
end to end solution to all the business process needs of a company
in the general insurance business.
Quotation,
sales, underwriting, payments and receipts, reinsurance, claims
processing and integration to financial accounting are taken care
of.
A highly parameter driven Insurance Product builder which makes
it easy for the company to bring new products to the market is a
great advantage, Informatics said in a statement.
