Rodrigo retires; changes
at Pricewaterhouse

Sri Lanka, the local partner of the global accounting firm,
last week announced changes in the management with the planned retirement
of senior partner Deva Rodrigo on June 30.

Rodrigo, also chairman of the Ceylon Chamber of
Commerce, said in a statement that the leadership team will comprise
Yudy Kanagasabai FCA, as CEO, Sujeewa Mudalige FCA, FCMA, FCCA,
as Markets Leader, and Channa Manoharan as Chief Operating Officer.
Kanagasabai who had been with the firm since its
inception in 1981 is presently the Leader of the Advisory Practice.
He will succeed Rodrigo while Mudalige who is presently the Leader
of the Assurance Practice will serve as the Deputy Leader.
“After my retirement from the Partnership
I will continue to be associated with the Firm in a non executive
capacity,” Rodrigo said.
The partners of the firm are Ms. A.de. Soysa,
S. Gajendran, Ms.S. Hadgie, Y. Kanagasabai, S. Manoharan, S. Mudalige,
Ms. S. Perera, Ms. H. C. Ratnayake and P. D.Rodrigo.
