Best sellers championship at Club Dolphin

Club Hotel Dolphin, Waikkal recently hosted the final of the "Championnat des vendeurs" (Best sellers championship) an annual event organized by Echo Touristique, France. The awards ceremony was followed by a gala dinner set amidst a typical "Fishing Village" atmosphere created on the shores of Club Hotel Dolphin. Sri Lanka is an immerging destination in France, and 136 participants had the opportunity to experience Sri Lankan and its renowned hospitality.

Echo Touristique is a leading professional press magazine distributed among tour operators, travel agents and other tourism related companies. This event is planned each year where they select the best sellers to travel to the destination to improve their sales knowledge. The chief guest for the event was Mr. Udaya Nanayakkara (Chairman Sri Lanka Tourist Board). Main sponsors for the event were, Sri Lanka Tourist Board, SriLankan Airlines, Serendib Leisure Hotels and Walkers Tours.
