Innovative cocktail at Club Palm Bay Club Palm Bay - Marawila, emerged clear winners and won all three Positions in the "Innovative Cocktail" and the "Flair Barmen" Categories, at the 15th Marie Brizard Cocktail Competition which was held on the 21st of April 2006, for the Negombo Region. wherein 38 Bartenders participated.
Chathura Karunasena emerged as the winner in the Innovative Cocktail Competition, while K. Sivakumar and Chaminda Marasinghe became the First and Second Runners-up. K. Sivakumar won the Flairing Category Competition, while Chathura Karunasena and Chaminda Marasinghe won the second and third places respectively. This competition was organized by the Ceylon Hotel School Graduates' Association together with the Tourists Hotels Association of Sri Lanka. The event was sponsored by Free Lanka Trading Co. Ltd.
