Security seminar in
the south
The Training Institute of the Industrial Security
Foundation (Sri Lanka) Inc., has organised a series of seminars
on security to be conducted across the island.
The second in this series will be held on Saturday,
June 24 at the Sri Lanka Telecom Training Facility, Unawatuna, Galle
for employed in the Industrial Security Profession, in the southern
province.
The deliberations will be on the subjects of Introduction
to Security, Physical Security & Access Control, Role of the
Public in Protection of vulnerable installations in the context
of present day security, Qualities of a Good Security Officer, The
Privileges of a Security Officer as granted by Legislations, Uniform
Regulation and that of the Spiritual Security (Mind Set).Resources
personnel are officials of the Security Foundation– M/s S
B W de Silva, Nihal de Alwis, Ajith Jayasekera, Dilip de Silva and
Maj. Shantha de Silva. The General Manager Security of Sri Lanka
Telecom – Maj.W M G F Fonseka, as a Guest Speaker will deliberate
on “Role of the Public in Protection of Telecommunication
Installations”. The incumbent President Capt.Ganesh Mendis
will deliver the welcome address, and Vote of thanks by Lal Wewala,
the Vice President.
