Mazahir steers Thomians to victory

A fine knock of 100 that included 1 boundaries and five sixes by Nisham Mazahir and two half centuries from Dinesh Soysa and R. Niroshan helped S.Thomas’ to record a first innings win over Mahanama Colombo in their All Island Under 17 Division One cricket encounter played at Mt Lavinia yesterday. The Thomians taking first lease of the wicket declared their innings on 246 for 3 and Mahanama in their turn were able to muster only 142.
