Hayleys Consumer's Matara showroom records highest turnover

Hayleys Consumer Products Ltd., (HCPL), showroom in the deep south recorded the highest turnover for the sale of consumer electronic equipment from the rest of the company's franchise holders.

Kumar Withanage, the franchise holder for HCPL's Matara branch, achieved the highest turnover at the financial year which ended March 31, 2006, through the sale of consumer electronic appliances from the globally renowned brands represented by Hayleys Consumer in Sri Lanka, the company said.

Withanage attributed his success to the diverse array of products he was able to offer customers at the Hayleys showroom.

Products such as Philips' Ambilight TVs, home theatre systems and DVD players as well as appliances from Kenwood, Usha, Xcella, Godrej, Daytron, Titan and Westar have all contributed to sales turnover, he said.
