Nerodha Sudershini de Silva who hails from Anuradhapura was crowned as Miss University International Sri Lanka at the Mr. and Miss University International Beauty Pageant held in Seoul South Korea in July 2004.

Forty Five countries participated in this pageant and she was appointed Campus Ambassador for Sri Lanka by the Korean pageant organizers.

She started her career to participate in shows in 1999 in the Panchakalyani contest in 2001. She was crowned Miss University in a fashion show. In the year 2000 in a pageant held in June for universities, she was selected Miss Photogenic, Miss Elegance, Miss Body Beautiful and Miss Creative that helped her in her personal development.

‘I have to thank TV Times for the support given. It gave me a boost to continue in modelling as a University model’ she added. Nerodha obtained BSc in Agriculture and Msc in Environment and Economics. She is currently working as a teaching assistant at the Post Graduate Institute of Agriculture (PTIA) University of Peradeniya.
