Sathasivam book launch

The launch of the book “A Murder in Ceylon-the Sathasivam Case” written by Prof. Ravindra Fernando will take place on July 11 (Tuesday) at the Lionel Memorial auditorium of the Sri Lanka Medical Association.

Prof. Ravindra Fernando, Senior Professor of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology of the Colombo University objectively examines and presents the pertinent facts and expert evidence led at the 57-day trial of this landmark case in the history of law and forensic medicine in Sri Lanka.

Minister of Science and Technology Prof. Tissa Vitharana will be the chief guest at the launch. Solicitor General C.R. De Silva, PC, and Prof. Lakshman Marasinghe, Emeritus Professor of Law, University of Windsor and the Chairman of the Law Commission will be the guest speakers at the launch.

The book is published by Vijitha Yapa Publications.
