Tsunami
waves of tears
On a quiet Sunday morning,
Without any prior warning,
The peaceful calm sea water,
Turned into a ferocious wild monster
The inhabitants of the sea-side,
Sighted death in the rising tide,
The sea which relieved their hunger
Came to snatch their lives in anger,
Children playing in the sea-shore
Mothers engaged in the daily chore,
Helpless against the mighty water,
An unexpected natural disaster.
The waves washed away all happiness,
Leaving an irreversible state of Sadness,
Countless orphans and hundreds of widows
Left in misery with an unsure tomorrow.
Can we heal the wounds in the minds
of thousands of helpless left behind?
To bring peace and happiness in their lives.
Shall we eagerly and unceasingly strive?

The importance of the English Language
It is a well known fact that English is an international
language and it is a living language. English is spoken in every
nook and corner of the world. Even to seek a well paid job we must
have a good knowledge of English. If we know English, we can enjoy
a good position and status in the society.
Learning English is a fashion among the present generation. We
have got many facilities to learn English. If we learn English we
can face the future without any hesitation. As such, we should try
to improve our English knowledge.

River Amazon
The River Amazon is the second longest river in
the world. It flows between the jungles of Peru and Brazil. It carries
more water than any other river in the world.
People sell things in the river. We call this
a floating market. There are more than 1500 types of fish. And in
the River Amazon lives the longest snake, the Anaconda. Piranches
is a mammal eating fish. Electric eels found in the river can knock
us out, but some still swim about.
If there is a storm all the people who sells and
swims come ashore. After the storm they return back to their chores.
I wish I will be able to go and see the River Amazon.

The eagle
The eagle is a very powerful bird it is very strong
and courageous and it is a bird of prey. It was a symbol of strength,
bravery and fame in ancient times. The eagle has sharp eyesight,
it can see small creatures when it fly high in the air. The eagle
is found everywhere except in New Zealand and the Antarctic Region.
It has a curved bill its claws are sharp and curved, its feathers
are long and narrow. The gold eagle's wings are shiny and golden.
There are about 50 kinds of eagles. The eagle belongs to the hawk
family. It lays its eggs on rocky edges. It preys on insects, reptiles,
small birds and other small mammals. I like to watch its graceful
gliding.

Birds and flowers.

When it's boring.
