Sanjiv Wijayasinghe, Director of Human Resource at Suntel Ltd, took over as the new President of the Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka (IPM) at the AGM held recently at the IPM Secretariat.

A Fellow of the Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka, he also holds a Diploma in Personnel Management (Sri Lanka), Diploma in Agriculture from the Transworld College (Jersey) UK. He is a Senior Member of the British Institute of Management and the Institute of Professional Managers United Kingdom. Having 25 years experience including in large multinational companies in the field of Human Resource Management.

Wijayasinghe previously served as the Senior Vice President HR Vanik Incorporation Ltd – Managing Director and Director of several companies within the Group, General Manager HR & Administration Celltel Lanka Limited, Group HR Manager James Finlays (Colombo) Limited, Personnel Manager Bartleet Group of Companies and Associate Director Human Resource Development & Relief Rehabilitation of an International NGO in Consultative Status Category II with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
