SriLankan completes successful Strategic Plan
SriLankan Airlines have just completed the implementation
of the 3 year strategic plan that was developed in consultation
with MTI Consulting in 2002/3. The effective implementation of the
strategic initiatives identified in this plan has been an important
contributor to the achievements of the 3 year goal and vision that
was set as part of this intensive strategic planning process conducted
in 2002/3, MTI Consulting said.
The SriLankan Airlines strategic plan was based
on MTI’s 8S®, an internationally used strategic planning
model that cover Scope, Scan, Sights, Strategy, Structure, Staff,
Social Responsibility and System – where all modules are research
based. The process covered 18 countries, which were visited by MTI
Consultants and the active involvement of the SriLankan management
team in these countries.
