This is a hot topic on the minds of most people. Flying saucers, funny creatures is it an Imagination?

If you ask the management of Excel World for their opinion, the answer would be a resounding 'Yes'. Aliens have landed!

The reason is not a myth but factual since Excel World is about of launch four new films, all of which are space related adventures to synchronize with their simulation, 4D Motion Thriller ride at Cinamatrix, their state of the art motion theatre which is located in the "ARCADE" area of Excel World.

Being the first entertainment park to introduce the experience of a 4D simulation ride to the South East Asian region, they are now able to offer patrons a new dimension to 4D simulation rides with a 21 minute ride synchronized with a film named "Alien Adventure".

"The new film is specially licensed from nWave pictures, Brussels the world's premier 3D film Production Company. The longer version of film together with the motion simulation and 4D effects, will give customers an experience with a greater level of excitement", said Mr. Sidath Karunaratne - Manager Sales & Marketing of Excel World.

The management is confident that the Sri Lankan public will enjoy this new experience together with the promotions lined up to facilitate the launch he added.

The other new films to be introduced, in addition to 'Alien Adventure', are 'Space Creeps', 'Big Bad Bugs' and 'Space Race' which are licensed from their regular service provider 'Show Scan - Hollywood California'.

There are now a total of 9 thriller-rides available at 'Cinamatrix' and will be on show daily. The 'Cinamatrix' is open during the park hours, Monday to Friday from 2.00p.m. to 11.30p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays & holidays from 11.00a.m. to 11.00p.m.

Excel World is located in the heart of the city of Colombo at No. 338, T.B.Jayah Mawatha, Maradana, Colombo 10. It has ample parking space and is reputed as being the foremost city entertainment park in the country offering entertainment for the whole family.

The State of the art entertainment activities offered by Excel World are 'Lazer Runner' - Lazer tag games, 'Game Zone' - Video games, 'Ground Zero' - X Box Play station, PC games center, 'Strikes' - Bowling center, 'Shotz' - Pool Parlor 'Geckogrip' - Climbing Wall.
