SAF athletes covered against terrorism

Sri Lanka Insurance (SLI), the official insurer for the ongoing SAF Games, is providing cover to the 2,000 participants from eight countries with comprehensive insurance cover including against terrorism, civil commotion, riot and strikes.

The company said it was providing comprehensive ‘Personal Accident Cover’ to all sportsmen, women and officials.

The Personal Accident Cover provided, offers protection against perils ranging from injuries suffered by sporting personalities on and off the track/arena, surgical expenses, hospitalisation expenses and other medical expenses, as provided for and incurred, on a 24-hour basis for the duration of the games.
