Financial Times - Ranjith Fernando, new chairman at United Motors

Ranjith Fernando, a respected business leader, recently took over the reigns as Chairman of United Motors from Mahendra Amarasuriya who held this position for 13 years.

Fernando was a former Secretary of the Ministry of Enterprise Development, Industrial Promotion, Industrial Policy and Constitutional Affairs. He was also formerly the CEO and a Director of the National Development Bank in Sri Lanka. He has wide experiene in law, banking and finance, accounting and people management and has considerable expertise in providing innovative solutions towards problem solving.
