Eureka delivers first Australian web solution
Eureka Technology Partners (ETP) recently delivered
its first full-scale web solution to an Australia company.
Created for Australia’s ST Group, the website
at www.stgroup.com comprises
a fully integrated web solution designed to match the innovativeness
of the client, which is one of the world's leading providers of
integrated transport and logistics services for the earthmoving,
mining and construction equipment industries. In fact, ETP was selected
for the project because of its innovativeness and past experience
in delivering solutions that went beyond the norm, giving priority
to concepts such as clean design elements, ease of navigation and
rapid data retrieval, the Sri Lankan company said in a statement.
Consisting of a corporate home page which serves
as a gateway to the ST Group’s diverse business units, the
company’s website was conceptualised by ETP to be an easy
to use, no nonsense information resource primarily for customers,
where extensive information on services is provided.
Along with a wide range of next generation features,
it is important to note that the website has been created with the
inherent ability to be future-proof, with the ability to grow and
evolve in coordination with the ST Group’s growth and diversification
initiatives.
Jeff Mylrea, manager in charge of the project
said, “We were very happy with the solution provided by Eureka.
Our solution was delivered on time and I was kept updated on each
and every stage of the development.
We were a little sceptical outsourcing the work
overseas but we found the results and process to be lot smoother
than expected mainly due to the close contact our local account
manager maintained.
We have had nothing but good feedback on the new
look site and are very happy with the result.”
ETP’s Head of Marketing, Sanjay Mendis,
said that “the client had a few sites which focused on different
service offerings. Eureka built an integrated solution featuring
all their services. The site is also linked to the internal data
bases giving their clients real-time information on the status of
their shipments and other important information.”
He added that “This was the first project
that was undertaken by our Australian representative which was very
successful as they have already recommended us to other Australian
companies.”
