Samaga Heluwen"

Horu Samaga Heluwen, Prasanna Vithanage's
Sinhala language adaptation of two Dario Fo Plays, will
be staged on September 15 at 3.30 & 6.45 p.m. at
Y.M.B.A Theatre, Borella.
The play, comprising two one-act plays
by Italian Nobel Laureate Fo, features an impressive
line-up of players from the Sinhala theatre, including
Jayalath Manoratne, Dayadeva Edirisinghe, Saumya Liyanage,
Jayani Senanayaka, Gayani Gisanthika, Gihan Fernando,
Prasad Sooriyarachchi, Wasantha Weerakkody (who also
doubles as Costume Designer) and Hashinika Karaliyadde.
Tharupathi Munasinghe is responsible for original music
for the play. Chandana Nishantha Peiris is the show's
Stage Manager, assisted by Asoka Zoysa,. Buddadasa Galappatti,
a veteran in the field, will do makeup while Jude Srimal
is the show's Chief Organizer. Prasad Perera is Vithanage's
Assistant Director and Rohan Samaradivakara is Producer
for Horu Samaga Heluwen.
