Lanka Bell reinvents SMS as ‘Keti Katha’

Lanka Bell recently launched a campaign reinventing SMS as ‘Keti Katha’.

‘Keti Katha’ with its strongly Sri Lankan flavoured name, is a concept which enables all Lanka Bell customers to keep in touch with friends and family, both locally and overseas, at a cost effective rate of 00.75 cents per message, the company said.

‘Keti Katha’ aims at transforming ‘text message communication through fixed lines’ into a Sri Lankan lifestyle.

Transcending language and geographical barriers, it is no longer an individualised feature, but encompasses the entire family unit in this modern facet of communication.
