Sailing nationals at Bolgoda

The Yachting Association of Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Ceylon Motor Yachting Club will hold the Sailing Nationals 2006 on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 at the Bolgoda lake.

It will be sponsored by Janashakthi Insurance. It will provide exciting fare in the balmy waters of the Bolgoda Lake.

There will be six races over the two days and about 40 boats on the water will make it a spectacular event.

The third year’s the Sailing Nationals will be worked in all four classes of Sailing boats together.

There will be a junior event – under 15 optimist class – one helmsman. 2) Enterprise Class – one helmsman and crew. 3) G.P. 14 helmsman and crew, 4) Laser Class – one helmsman - BW
