Trinity win in Auckland

Trinity College Kandy performed well during their two week tour to New Zealand when they outclassed the Infield School 56-0 in the under 20 encounter last Friday. Two days earlier their under 14 side went down 26-7 in a friendly game against the same opponents.

The food and the lodging on this tour were provided by an old boy A. G Joseph. The side also went through two coaching sessions which was very valuable experience for the youngsters as the same squad will be in action next year. The side will return to Sri Lanka on October 13.

Not only did Trinuity retain the “Bradby Shield” but will also will be promoted to “A” division in 2007.
