Rukmani D. remembered

To mark the 28th death anniversary of Rukmani Devi, there will be a singing competition of her songs sung by amateur singers at the Elphinstone Theatre, Maradana, Colombo-10.

The second phase of this competition will be held 9.00 am on October 11, 2006.

Competitors above 17 years of age are invited to join the competition by forwarding their application to T. M. Sangadasa, Kala Lanka Foundation, 42/1, Britto Babapulle Place, Colombo-14 or over the telephone 0773228866. The organizing committee stated that those interested to to participate can join the competition by registering themselves at the Elphinstone Theatre on October 11 morning.

The winners will be awarded certificates and will get opportunities to sing at musical shows organized by KLF.
