Stay order
on car park acquiring
A stay order has been issued by the
Additional District Judge of Kandy on a decision taken
by the Kandy Municipal Council on September 28 to re-acquire
the car park.
Property Finance and Investments (
Pvt) Limited had sought the intervention of the Kandy
District Court on this decision of the Kandy Municipal
Council.
On representations made, the Additional
District Judge issued a stay order valid for 14 days
and issued notice on the Kandy Municipal Council to
appear in court on October 16.
