Launch of IBSL website

The Insurance Board of Sri Lanka (IBSL) will launch its new and improved website as they ring in the New Year. The revamped site is scheduled to be up and running on 1 January 2007 at 10.30 am.

The IBSL, the regulatory authority for the insurance industry and insurance brokers in Sri Lanka is hoping to create awareness amongst the general public as to the wide variety of information that is available on the website at www.ibsl.gov.lk.

It said the public can access current information on insurance companies, insurance brokers, rules and regulations, gazette notifications and other insurance related news.
